Biography
He is currently Professor of Medicine, Senior Consultant of Cardiology Unit of Internal Medicine Department at State Medical University, Zaporozhye, Ukraine. His research interest includes the fundamental study of biological markers of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, heart failure, diabetes mellitus, obesity, endothelial dysfunction, microvesicles, stem cells etc. He has now become member of the ESC Council on Hypertension and the ESC Council on Stroke. He is current Editor-in-Chief of Biological Markers and Guided Therapy; Diabetes Research and Treatment; J Stem cell & Regenerative Biology; Annals of Cardiovascular Diseases; International Journal of Biochemistry & Physiology.
