Dr. Amy Metcalfe is Assistant Professor at Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Calgary, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Dr. Amy Metcalfe’s research focuses on optimizing the management of chronic disease during pregnancy by: 1) examining the impact of medical management of chronic disease in pregnancy on maternal and fetal health; 2) evaluating the ability of alternative models of prenatal care to improve disease control and obstetrical outcomes; and 3) assessing the risk of long-term disease complications following pregnancy.
