After her choice as a senior neurologist at the Cantonal Hospital of Friborg, Ms. PD Dr. Andrea Humm is still working as a consultant for vegetative neurology at the Neurological University Clinic at the Inselspital in Bern.
In addition to general neurology, its main interest is clinical neurophysiology and the autonomic nervous system. Within the framework of an academic program for the promotion of young researchers, the Swiss and Swiss research centers have been able to intensify both clinical and scientific activities in these areas for several years, including a stay at the Autonomic Unit at the Queen Square Hospital in London. Subsequently, a neurovegetative laboratory was established at the Neurological University Clinic in Berne with a focus on the clarification and support of patients with orthostatic intolerance and syncope. Obtained the Venia docendi for the subject of neurology at the University of Bern in 2011 with regular student lessons both at the University of Bern and at the University of Friborg. PD Dr. Andrea Humm is also involved in the training in clinical neurophysiology. She is a member of several national professional associations.
