Biography
Dr. Guilherme Oliveira is a biologist with a major from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He did his doctorate course at Texas A&M University and was a Senior Researcher at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, René Rachou Institute. He is a researcher 1D at CNPq and develops his research in the area of structural and functional genomic studies of eukaryotes and prokaryotes. He coordinated research projects funded by Brazilian, American and European agencies. He organized several events and workshops in the areas of research in schistosomiasis, bioinformatics, genomics, and metagenomics.
