Biography
James R. Elmore, MD, is a vascular surgeon and chair of Vascular Surgery for the Geisinger Surgery Institute. Dr. Elmore obtained his medical degree from the University of Connecticut. He completed his surgery residency at Maine Medical Center and his vascular fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Dr. Elmore is board certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Delaware Valley Vascular Society, the Eastern Vascular Society, the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society, the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery and the Society for Vascular Surgery.
