Ichthyosis encompasses genetic disorders linked to disorders of skin differentiation, but can also be acquired. Neonatal Congenital Ichthyosis which, major risk is predisposition to infections due to inefficient cutaneous barrier, has many sub-type including lamellar Ichthyosis.
