Katie Mairs

Katie was a research associate for Dr. Paul Stolee in the School of Public Health and Health Systems at the University of Waterloo. She has an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Health Studies and Gerontology with a minor in gerontology and a Master of Science Degree in Health Studies and Gerontology, both from the University of Waterloo. Her Master's thesis focused on the lifestyles and sexual health of Canadian snowbirds aged 50 years or older. Generally, her research interests include gerontology, sexual health, health promotion, program evaluation, and knowledge translation and exchange. As a member of the InfoRehab team, she was working on a number of different projects surrounding aging, dementia, vision health, and knowledge translation and exchange activities.
