Biography
Oded Maimon received the B.Sc. degrees in industrial engineering and mechanical engineering and the M.Sc. degree in operations research, both from The Technion, Haifa, Israel, and the Ph.D. degree from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.,He is a Professor and former Chair of the Industrial Engineering Department, Tel-Aviv University. Before joining Tel-Aviv University, he was a Research Scientist at the Massachussetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, and a Project Leader at Digital Equipment Corporation. He has recently co-authored the book Decomposition Methodology for Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (Singapore: World Scientific, 2005).
