Evidence Based Intrapartum Care and Factors among Obstetric CareProviders, Northwest Ethiopia: An Institution Based Cross-Sectional Study,2015

Introduction: Evidence-based intrapartum care uses the best available research on safety and effectiveness of specific practices to guide labor and delivery practice with the least harm intervention. Therefore this study was aimed to assess proportion of evidence-based intrapartum care and associated factors among obstetric care providers in Northwest Ethiopia, 2015. Methods: An institution based cross-sectional study was conducted. The data was collected using self-administered questionnaire from April to May 2015. The study sites were five referral hospitals in Northwest Ethiopia. All obstetric care providers registered in each referral hospitals were participated.
