Biography

 Dr. William H. Replogle received his PhD in psychology from the University of Mississippi in 1982. He joined the faculty of the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1984 and is currently professor of medicine and director of research in the Department of Family Medicine.

Since 2004, he has served as editor of the department's Clinical Problem Solving series, a monthly feature of the Journal of the Mississippi State Medical Association. He serves as a statistical and research consultant to various departments in the Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentistry and Health Related Professions at UMMC.

He has more than 60 journal publications that have appeared in more than 28 journals. including Academic Medicine, American Family Physician, Arch Facial Plast Surgery, Archives of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Arthroscopy, British Journal on Alcohol and Alcoholism, Diabetes Care, Family Medicine, Family Practice Research Journal, International Journal of Psychiatry in Medicine, Journal of Surgical Education, Journal of the American Board of Family Practice, Journal of the American College of Nutrition, Journal of Dental Education, Journal of Family Practice, Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine, Journal of School Psychology, Laryngoscope, Multivariate Experimental Clinical Research, Otolaryngology: Head Neck Surgery, Psychological Reports, and Worldviews on Evidence Based Nursing.

Dr. Replogle is also co-author of SAS and SPSS Program Solutions for Applied Linear Regression Models (2004) and SAS and SPSS Program Solutions for Applied Linear Statistical Models (2005) (McGraw-Hill, ISBN 0-07-298958-0 and 0-07-302177-6, respectively).
