Economic Implications of Personallized Medicine: A Review of Cost-Effectiveness Studies

Personalized medicine, which tailors treatment based on individual genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors, promises significant advancements in healthcare by potentially improving patient outcomes and reducing costs. This review examines cost-effectiveness studies related to personalized medicine, focusing on evidence from various medical conditions, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and rare genetic disorders. We analyzed 30 studies published between 2010 and 2023 to assess the economic implications of personalized medicine.
