Neurotoxicity Associated with Drug Abuse and HIV

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), a neurotropic infection, quickly attacks the mind following contamination. HIV repeats in the mind in an unobtrusive number of astrocytes, microglia, and macrophages, prompting provocative and neurotoxic host reactions. The expression "HIV-Related Neurocognitive Infections" alludes to serious neurological diseases welcomed on by HIV Associated Neurocognitive Disorder (HAND).
