Dr. Armin Keshmiri graduated at the Medical University of Graz/Austria. He completed his fellowship for Traumatology at the Department for Trauma-, Hand- and Reconstructive Surgery at the Central Clinic Augsburg/Germany. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department for Orthopedic Surgery at the Medical University of Regensburg/Germany. His areas of scientific and clinical expertise include knee and hip arthroplasty, sports traumatology and foot surgery. His research has included biomechanical, radiological and clinical investigations with a special focus on tibiofemoral and patellofemoral kinematics in total knee arthroplasty. He is serving as an associate editor for the german journal “Der Orthopäde” and served as a reviewer for several journals such as American Journal of Sports Medicine, International Orthopaedics, Acta Orthopaedica and KSSTA. He has authored over 20 original research articles on peer-reviewed journals and is member of several professional organisations such as DGOOC, GOTS, AGA and GFFC.
