Dr Ben Markman is a medical oncologist from Melbourne, Australia who has particular interests in lung and gastrointestinal cancers. He also has extensive experience in clinical research with particular expertise in early phase drug development and phase I clinical trials. He is a member of multiple collaborative groups including Cancer Trials Australia (CTA), the Australiasian Lung Cancer Trials Group (ALTG) and the Australasian Gastro-intestinal Trials Group (AGITG). He is currently a consultant medical oncologist at Monash Medical Centre, Monash Health (Melbourne, Australia) where he leads the early phase clinical trials team, and is an adjunct senior research fellow at Monash University.
