Dr. R. Balamurugan has completed his Mds in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Currently he is workins as a Consultant -Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon in 32 Pearls dental clinic, Sree dental clinic, RDP dental care.
He has served as a dental surgeon Dr.Elango’s Silver Jubilee Multispeciality Dental Clinic for a period of 3 years. In his post-graduation he has successfully performed 200 minor surgical procedures which include alveoloplasties, trans-alveolar extractions, surgical removal of impacted teeth, cyst enucleation, frenectomies, placement of 10 dental implants, performed and assisted major surgical procedures which include trauma management, tumor resection, management of TMJ disorders, orthognathic surgeries, vascular lesions, management of cleft lip, alveolus and palate. In his undergraduation he performed independent placement of 6 implants in saveetha academy of implant dentistry, treated 659 patients and performed 1434 clinical procedures which includes oral prophylaxis, extractions, amalgam, composite, glass ionomer restorations, root canal treatments, full veneer crowns, inlay, fixed partial dentures, temporary partial dentures, implants, fixed appliance, removable appliance, fluoride application, pit and fissure sealants etc.
