C.V.Raghuveer got his MBBS degree from Bangalore Medical College under Bangalore University in 1975 and pursued his post-graduation at the prestigious JIPMER in Pondicherry,acquiring his Diploma in Clinical Pathology in 1978 and M.D. in Pathology in 1979 both under Madras University. After a short stint at JIPMER, Prof.Raghuveer left for greener pastures to accept overseas assignments in two Universities abroad –initially for 4 years at University of ILORIN in Nigeria and later for 2 more years at Al-Arab Medical University in Benghazi, Libya. It was in 1986 that Prof.Raghuveer returned to India and joined the prestigious Kasturba Medical College under Manipal University where he worked for nearly 25 years and
ultimately attained the coveted position of the Dean of that college. During his long sojourn in Kasturba Medical College, Prof.Raghuveer, a hard core academician
honed his academic skills, practised pathology diligently and administered a large institution with elan
