He earned his scientific degree from the University of Barcelona (Spain). He worked more than five years in the International Cochrane Collaboration as responsible of handsearching activities and research fellow in systematic and meta-analysis. Currently he is clinical affairs manager for medical devices. He have several publications in peer review journals about self-monitoring and cost-effectiveness.
His research interests revolve around systematic reviews, meta-analysis, optimal information size in meta-analysis and evidence-based health care. Evidence Based Monitoring (anticoagulation and diabetes). Outcomes that matter to patients. This includes critical appraisal trials, observational study design and clinical trials related to the evaluation of various interventions.
