He received his PhD in Medicine from Universidad Autónoma, Madrid, Spain. He is a member of several multi-center Spanish groups involved in the study of immune-genetics of different immune mediated diseases. He is a vice-president of the board of directors of the Rheumatology Society of Madrid (SORCOM) since 2009 and I am the elected president for 2012.
His most current research interest pertains to basic science focused on experimental osteoarthritis and the role that subchondral bone plays in rheumatic diseases.
I am also member of several multi-center Spanish groups involved in the study of immune-genetics of different immune mediated diseases.
Co-investigator in several multi-center clinical trials in osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
