Emotion And Memory

"International journal of school and cognitive psychology, ISSN: 1234-3425, publishes all original research, review articles related to emotion and Memory. All papers are peer reviewed and cover topics related to cognition, emotion, memory, psychopharmacology etc. Emotion plays a vital role on memory. Within the information-processing framework of cognitive psychology, information is first encoded and then consolidated and stored in long-term memory. Recent studies are focused mainly on how emotion enhances or disrupts memory. Two brain regions were active during successful retrieval of memory: the amygdala and the hippocampus. The same areas also successfully encode emotional memories. Cognitive neuroscientists began to isolate the underlying mechanism beyond emotional effects on memory. However further studies are required to understand the exact inter-relation between memory and emotion. 2nd International Conference on Psychology, Autism and Alzheimer’s Diseases is one of the conferences organized by OMICS Group provides a good platform for all the researchers who have a common area of interest under one roof. OMICS Group has been expanding its publication services by acquiring reputed journals from many prestigious publishers from different parts of the world.
