Conclusion: The risk of leukemia or cancer was not shown to be significantly linked with semiconductor work in this meta-analysis. For interpretation, internal comparisons such as non-fab workers, research quality, employment period, and the healthy worker impact should be taken into account. In addition, prospective cohort research based on the entire semiconductor workforce could be helpful to evaluate the risk of occupational disease as a required element of health assessment.
