Abstract :

The primary aim of this study is to determine whether the scores to HAD depression subscale (Zygmond & Snaith), and S-MADRS (self rated MADRS) correlate with the score of the MADRS completed by a clinician following a psychiatric interview. The secondary objective is to determine whether the number of pathological personality traits of the PDQ4 is different as MADRS score is <18, 1826Every patient requesting mental health care to the PsyLib site completes a series of self scales and questionnaires. Patient qualifies for a suspicion of depression if �??abbreviated MINI 5.0�?� report a major depression and HAD depression score > 11. After completion of abbreviated MINI, S-MADRS, HAD and PDQ4, patient are assessed by a clinician through a clinical interview, which provide a MADRS score. Parametric correlations between HAD depressive sub-scale score and MADRS, and between S-MADRS and MADRS, as well as the KHI-Square test between the number of personality traits of the PDQ4 report and the MADRS categories (<18, 18-26, >26) will be computed with Microsoft Excel. Data from 50 patients were analyzed. Results from the statistical analysis will be presented and discusse Analysis of self questionnaire data may provide an efficient help to assess the severity of depression from patients seeking help on line.

Joël Gailledreau is a French private psychiatrist, head of the Private CIC Ambroise Paré, and General Manager of PsyLib.
