In generel technology is a concept that deals with specialized usage of tools, utilities and knowledge in order to improve the efficiency of existing goods and services production and also to create new goods and services. Therefore companies competitive power necessities the ability to manage their technological capabilities. Airports know they should monitor and renew their technologies as being cost effectively and competitive. This study relates technology management of the airports to the transactional processes to the strategical organisational structure.
Vildan Durmaz has completed her M.Sc in Management and Organization program of Social Sciences from Anadolu University and undergradute in English Language Teaching at the Educational Faculty of the same university. She has completed her Ph.D in Civil Aviation Management from Anadolu University of EskiÃ?Â?ehir, TURKEY. She is an Associate Professor at EskiÃ?Â?ehir Technical University, TURKEY. Her academic areas are centred on aviation management, environmental impacts of airports, sustainable airport management, smart airports/terminals etc.
