Abstract :

Recently, the research focuses on how to avoid the lack of specialist and the mistake diagnosis and how to realize the medical standardization. Many network systems are developed to try to solve the problems. However, they do not solve the conflict between operability, functionality and the high equipment investment and the maintenance costs. A good system should have the following characters at least: Integration of the image communication and the videoconference; Real-time collaboration for the image operation; High speed image transferring; The high resolution of television; Reduce the communication cost; Simplify the DICOM protocol; The stability of communication and Integration of the nutrition and teleradiology. ViewSend Medical is a telemedicine system just developed for all these problems. Moving onto the relation between telemedicine and disaster nutrition (DN), DN also must require all conditioned above mentioned. I would introduce our experiences conducted in Japan to enhance the progress of DN.
