Afforestation is the restructuring of the Forest cover by natural plantation or by artificial seedling process. Afforestation restores ecological balance of all ecosystems, maintain biological diversity, and act as catch for all soil and water, prevent floods and future of tribal people. The supply of wood and wood products from afforested areas has prevented the over-exploitation and destruction of our indigenous forests. However, unwise planning and management of afforestation can lead to negative environmental impacts. The results are the absorption of carbon dioxide, cut down the danger of global warming, prevent erosion and beautify the environment.
