Angiography

It is commonly known as arteriography which is a medical imaging technique used to observe the inside, or lumen, of blood vessels as well as organs of the body with specific interest in the arteries, veins and the heart chambers. It is traditionally practised by injecting a radio- opaque contrast agent inside the blood vessel and imaging is done by using X-ray based techniques such as fluoroscopy.
