Arthritis refers to joint inflammation. Joint pain, stiffness and swelling are the common symptoms of arthritis. Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid arthritis are the most common types. Psoriasis, Uric acid crystals and infections can also lead to arthritis. Osteoarthritis involves cartilage whereas Rheumatoid arthritis involves lining of joints (synovium).
Arthritis is a type of bone disease that affects bones, cartilages and musculoskeletal parts of the human body. It is basically a form of disease that occurs at joints. This results in joint’s chronic pain, inflammation and redness in the affected area, etc. There are many different forms or types of arthritis. The most common is the osteoarthritis which results in disorder in the human joints. Arthritis occurs due to mechanical stress, hormonal changes and sometimes due to infection.
