The transmission of signaling information from one cell to the other cell occurs in three phase receptor mediated signaling. In first phase the binding component is an extracellular ligand which results in forming a complex with cell surface receptor.
While in second the activated receptor evokes a rise in formation of messengers or the cytoplasmic protein recruitment. The activation of enzyme occurs in third phase.
