Clinical mycobacteriology

It is the study and evaluation of clinical aspects of mycobacteria. It deals with all the clinical trials and practices done for the knowledge of mycobacterium species. Mycobacteria are a causative agent of various fatal diseases such as tuberculosis and leprosy, due to which a single test related for the eradication of disease, is necessary.

Clinical mycobacteriology is actually the study of all the protocols and operating systems of mycobacteria, including its disease causing nature and its transmission in the host.

Lab protocol study of mycobacteria includes all the practises starting from the the separation of mycobacteria to it's isolation and extraction.
