Epidural anesthesia is often termed as epidural analgesia. This method is often used in childbirth to produce loss of sensation below the waist to avoid pain and discomfort. Anesthetic is administered intravenously space around dura matter of the spinal cord. The Epidural anesthesia involves in injecting the anesthetics through a catheter tube inserted into epidural space.
