It is the surgical removal of all or a piece of the pancreas. There are a few sorts of pancreatectomy including pancreaticoduodenectomy (Whipple strategy), distal pancreatectomy, segmental pancreatectomy, and aggregate pancreatectomy, the evacuation of the whole pancreas.
