Schizoaffective disorder is a combination of two mental illness, they are schizophrenia and mood disorder. Schizoaffective disorder categorized in to two sub types, they are schizoaffective bipolar type, and schizoaffective depressive type. The symptoms of schizoaffective disorder are hallucinations, delusions, disorganized thoughts, chaotic speech and behavior, anxiety, apathy, blank facial expression. This disease is difficult to diagnose because it has symptoms of bipolar disorder and schizoaffective disorder. The treatment for schizoaffective disorder is using medications, physiotherapy, self-management strategies.
