Signal Transduction Cascades

In order to transmit signals the cascades are used. Most widely used cascades for signal transduction are G-protein signal cascade, phosphatidylinositol signal cascades etc. The signal molecules are targeted to the cell to bind the cell surface receptors present on the plasma membrane.

Further the signals are passed from receptor to an intracellular G-protein cascade which is encoded in human genome.
