Tumorigenesis is the actual formation of a cancer, whereby normal cells are transformed into cancer cells. The carcinogenesis is characterized by the progression of changes at the cellular and genetic level. The causes include endogenous agents, exogenous agents and mutations and DNA repair deficiency.
